Description
This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1) and (FAR 13.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any vendor that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 12:00 PM EST, July 15, 2010. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed below. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to scott.c.bacon@us.army.mil The United States Property and Fiscal Office, New Hampshire, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Copper Cannon for Youth Summer Camp Services. The Youth Summer Camp Services to be provided from 26-31 July, 2010. The event will be held in northern New Hampshire for a minimum of 25 youth. The Youth Summer Camp is to be provided for youth whose parents or siblings are service members who live or serve in NH. Facilities provided must include: cabin or tent area for all youth and staff, running water, hot meals on site, on site access to low and high ropes courses, nursing staff, and transportation for campers from metropolitan areas. Staff requirements are: staff must be CPR and first aid certified, 18 years of age or older, must be available during all work hours, clean criminal record history, ability to manage youth with special needs, uniforms identifying them as staff, and specified knowledge in working with military youth in all stages of deployment. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All qualified sources may submit a response. Responses need to provide evidence the offeror can provide the required products. Responses must be received NLT 12:00 PM EST, July 15, 2010.
