- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Navajo Regional office is issuing this solicitation notice for services to procure Inscription House Russian Olives and Tamarisk Control Project. The procurement method is Commercial Item Procedures, and BIA intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract for services to procure Inscription House Russian Olives and Tamarisk Control Project, Noxious Weed Inventory & Control Program for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Branch of Natural Resources, Western Navajo Region Agency, Tuba City, Arizona. This acquisition is an unrestricted and is solicilated on an open market basis. The solicitation packet will be available immediately (July 19, 2010). Solicitation Package is available at www.fbo.gov Due to the urgency of the requirement, the response time for quotes due, is short. Contractors qualified for services are encouraged to submit a signed and dated quote, along with a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, DUNS Number, proof of contractor's registration in www.ccr.gov, to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Navajo Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, Attention: Elsie J Begay, P. O. Box 1060, Gallup, New Mexico 87305 by close of business July 30, 2010. Physical address: 301 W. Hill Ave., Room. 346, Gallup, NM 87301. Quotes submitted by facsimile at (505) 863-8382 or by email at elsie.begay@bia.gov will be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror, whose quote conforming to the requirements herein, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and is considered fair and reasonable to the responsive and responsible offeror. All contractors submitting quotes must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive contracts and purchase orders from the Federal Government pursuant to FAR Clause 52.204-7.
