- The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting proposals to repair an existing gravel surface BLM road. Work includes reconstruction of approximately 550 feet, conducting minor pull back and re-grading of approximately 325 feet, and resurfacing approximately 1,200 feet of Von Road (BLM Road #3-5-20), located in Yamhill County, Salem District, Oregon. This project includes roadway reconstruction, setting construction stakes, clearing and grubbing, end haul of excess excavation and pull-back materials, grade construction and re-grading, culvert and downspout installation, and aggregate surfacing. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from notice to proceed, with an estimated start date of August 15, 2010. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this project is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5 million annually. Payment (100%) and performance (100%) bonds are required. This project is open to both large and small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated.
