- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA requires renovation of Human Resources Shell Space, Under Project Number 693-08-144, in which the contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, tools, supervision, equipment, permits, testing and reports convert the Human Resource Shell Space, located on the 10th floor into office area. Also included is the renovation of existing office/storage space in Rooms 10-04 and 10-20/22. All work must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, drawings, and all federal, state and local codes and regulations. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $200,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 150 calendar days. All work on this project must be accomplished between 7 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm must be small under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov. Offerors must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for correcting information. The NAICS code for this project is 238990, and the small business size standard is $14.0 Million. Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Performance Bonds will be required. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held, date/time/location to be provided with the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about Aug 2, 2010. Bidders are responsible to review and monitor the website frequently to obtain most up to date information, including amendments.
