- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The South Bronx Job Corps Academy is a Federally Funded Employment Training Program that services youth between the ages of 16 and 24 in a residential setting. The program operates year round with approximately 200 residential and 100 non-residential trainees. The program is operated by ResCare, Inc. for the United States Department of Labor. SCOPE OF WORK •· Removing the membrane roofing and flashing at protrusion •· Install new protrusion •· Approximately 2.25 SF for each of the 15 protrusions protection to be repaired. •· Wrap the membrane over the protrusion and under the flashing. •· Provide a new flashing •· Interested bidders are must attend a walk through on Thursday July 22, 2010 9 a.m. RFP REQUIREMENTS •· Must be in compliance with all Local, State and Federal Guidelines and Regulations •· Work to be accomplished in safe and efficient manner with minimal or no disruption or endangerment to trainees and / or staff. •· Must provide a copy of current licensure and insurance •· Bids are due on Friday July 30, 2010 AGREEMENT •· Contractor must provide time frame in which work is to be completed •· This agreement will be on Net30 payment terms. •· Bidders must submit their proposal by 5 p.m. close of business on Friday July 30, 2010 •· The following documents will be incorporated and made part of agreement •o Davis Bacon Act (40 U 27a Attachment B) •o Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities Pursuant to FAR 52.222-21 (Attachment C) •o Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Requirement Pursuant to FAR 52.222-26 and FAR 52.222-27, FAR 52.252-2, 52.204-1, 52.215-19 •o PRC 4121 and 4170.
