Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLICITATION The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to issue Solicitation QMAE-BC-100005-N for the 2011 Bus Program to include acquisition of School, Shuttle, Adult Work, Inter City Commuter Coach, Over the Road Touring Coach and Double Decker Touring Buses. Buses must be built in accordance with the Federal Standard 833E. The various passenger carrying capacity for these buses range from a 14 Passenger School bus to a 79 Passenger Double Deck Touring Bus. This acquisition will result in an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Fixed Price Type Contract with an Economic Price Adjustment. The resulting contract will consist of one (1) base year with four (4) option years. This acquisition is 100% Full and Open Competition. T he Government's bus requirements consist of minimum's table and supporting documentation (TEXT) that forms the complete requirements which must be considered http://apps.fas.gsa.gov/vehiclestandards/ Prospective offerors are required to obtain a user name and password for GSA's secure on-line proposal application (AutoBid). User name and password may be obtained by submitting the solicitation number, company's name, DUNS number, address, business size, user's name, telephone number, fax, email and proposed make and models for each Scheduled Line to automotiveedi.partnerships@gsa.gov. Account information will be provided within Ten (10) business days of your request. User name and password must be requested on or before July 31, 2010 and prior to the issuance of the solicitation to avoid delays. Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required. AutoBid will not be available until the solicitation opens.
