- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for the installation of an intercom system with 12 stations in the surgical suite at the Central Alabama Health Care System, (CAVHCS) Montgomery VA Medical Center. Contractor to furnish and install a commercial stereo with background music and hands free room to room intercom system in the OR suite located at the CAVHCS VA Medical Center, 215 Perry Hill Rd, Montgomery AL. The RFP VA-247-10-RP-0218 will be advertised as 100% Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business set aside with NAICS Code 238210 with a size standard of $14.0 million. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website o/a July 21, 2010. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Network Contracting Activity, Augusta VAMC, Shirley Adams, Contract Specialist, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta GA 30904 or fax 478-274-5588 no later than July 26, 2010.
