- Description
- The General Services Administration is requesting proposals for renewable energy certificates (RECs) for the various GSA regions and possibly other Federal agencies to comply with Federal requirements. The successful offeror will deliver the required RECs by September 30, 2010. The solicitation requests pricing for a total of 150,000 MWhs of RECs produced from renewable resources that became operational after January 1, 1999 and meet the definitions of the solicitation. The procurement method will be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with Part 12 (Commercial Item) of the FAR. This announcement constitutes the presolicitation notice and the synopsis. The Government intends to award a contract to the offeror that offers the lowest price per MWh for RECs and meets the solicitation's minimum technical requirements. Supplier technical and price responses to the solicitation are due no later than 11:00 a.m. on August 5, 2010 at the Contracting Office address. Proposals may be faxed or emailed to the Contracting Officer per the solicitation due no later than 11:00 a.m. on August 5, 2010. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis.
