- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA will procure a Saber Simulation Software Package, estimated at $48,600.00. We intend to negotiate on a sole source basis with Synopsys, 90 Washington Valley Road, Bedminster, NJ 07921. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy the agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1), Numbered Note 22 applies. The Request for Quotation will be available to download from FEDBIZZOPPS or NECO.Navy.mil on or after 21 July 2010. The RFQ will be available electronically - no hard copies will be sent. All questions must be in writing to nathan.a.quinn@navy.mil.
