- Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement for a Nuclear Training and Education Current State Analysis, Roadmap and Toolset to provide a relational database for tracking current and future-state nuclear training related data displayed in a 3-dimensional cube. The cube would correlate requirements, resources and funding to any given Air Force class taught across the continuum of the nuclear enterprise and allows both strategic and tactical level leadership to assess the relevance of courses to the career development of individuals or groups. Although this SSN targets nuclear training, the tool developed should be capable of being used in other functional areas or missions (i.e. Cyber, maintenance, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN), etc.). The requirement is to provide support for an Air Force Nuclear Education and Training System. This will be a relational database that addresses the current state of play for all nuclear education and training displayed in a 3-dimensional cube. The database shall provide a current status picture of multiple dimensions, able to pull authoritative data in near-real-time, and is capable of replacing manual development of briefing charts. It shall also provide a 3-deminsional cube interface / in-depth, comprehensive picture of todays complex and dynamic nuclear training and education programs.
