- Provide Request for Proposal for all materials, labor, tools, and equipment to prepare surfaces, repair/replace glazing, broken lights (window glass panes) and minor wood repairs, paint/stain on wood, metal and masonry exterior surfaces and features of the shops (HS-3), new commissary/school (HS-4), maintenance shop and out-buildings for Fort Larned National Historic Site, Larned, KS. This project is solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 and is set-aside for an emerging small business. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320. Small business standard is $14M. Cost range is below $25,000. Type of award will be a firm-fixed price. Davis-Bacon Act for wage determinations will apply. The solicitation along with attachments and any amendments will be issued electronically and downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on 7/19/2010. No hard copies will be issued. A site visit is scheduled for 08/06/2010, 10:00 AM at Fort Larned National Historic Site, Larned, KS Anticipated period of performance is 60 days. Prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov with the required NAICS code and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov in order to receive a government award.
