- SAWTOOTH NATIONAL FOREST NOXIOUS WEED TREATMENT AND MONITORING PROJECT. THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED IN APPROXIMATELY 1-3 DAYS. This work consists of noxious weed management and treatment within the next (2010) growing season through the use of chemical control in the Sawtooth National Recreational Area, specifically within known and discovered weed infestations. Any Idaho State listed noxious weed population found within the project area may be treated. However, in the event available funding will not allow for treatment of all known or discovered infestation, priority will be given to Idaho State listed species that are of particular local concern such as spotted knapweed, diffuse knapweed, yellow toadflax, dalmation toadflax, rush skeletonweed, musk thistle, scotch thistle, and leafy purge. The estimated start work date is 8/6/10 with an estimated completion date of 9/30/10. NAICS CODE: 115112, $7.0 million.
