- Description
- The work includes repairs to both the east and west approaches of the Bygland Road bridge. On the east approach the work consists of milling to remove approximately 1.5 inches of concrete from the east approach panel to eliminate an elevation difference between the approach panel and the paving sill block. The pavement markings on the milled sections are to be replaced. On the west approach the work includes sawcutting and removal of the approach panel, removal and replacement of the joint sills, and removal and replacement of the impervious material with aggregate fill. Incident work includes the removal and replacement of road signs as necessary, the removal and replacement of guardrails if necessary to facilitate construction and the establishment and maintenance of traffic control.
