- The Program Manager Individual Combat and Equipment (PM ICE), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking industry input that identifies candidate solutions that have been developed, or are in development, which will satisfy current/future IWPS Block II. IPURE-II is an advanced water purification, disinfection and filtration system that will allow Marines, in an emergency situation, to safely transform all sources of non-potable fresh water into microbiologically-safe water while on the move in. The system will be used by individuals in austere combat environments to resupply from indigenous fresh water sources (EPA Type I and II water per NSF Standard P248 or EPA Guide Standard).
