- The United States Government seeks to lease Office consisting of approximately 12,500 rentable square feet in Rockford, Illinois, within the following delineated area: Northern Boundary: East Riverside Boulevard Southern Boundary: Harrison Avenue Eastern Boundary: Interstate 90 Wester Boundary: Alpine Road The space should yield between 10,912 - 12,003 BOMA usable square feet. Parking is required for 30 vehicles. The proposed lease is for 15 years and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than March 20, 2011. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Specific requirements will be taken into consideration for the procurment of this lease. For the security and safety of employees, office space collocated with Federal, State and Local government agencies or private firms whose primary clienteles are involved in or have ties to criminal elements will not be considered. In addition, office space located near daycare centers, churches or schools will eliminated from considerations. Please note that the Government seeks existing commercial space and will only consider new construction as a last resort. The General Services Administration will not use tenant brokers to represent the Government in lease negotiations or transactions for this procurement. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
