- The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE plans to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the GSA Schedule to Steelcase Inc. for the installation, teardown, reconfiguration, purchase, and design of multiple Steelcase furniture configurations. This is a follow-on effort to 55th CONS contract FA4600-06-D-0002, an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the local Steelcase authorized distributer. This effort will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) BPA with an ordering period from date of award to 12 Mar 2014, and an estimated ceiling of $5,000,000. Award will be pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), which allows for other than full and open competition when purchasing goods through the federal supply schedule. Although Steelcase is available from one or more schedule contracts, this product/services are peculiar to one manufacturer. USSTRATCOM and AFWA currently are furnished with Steelcase and have an inventory of Steelcase furniture. Steelcase replacement parts, panels, etc must match and fit with the existing furniture design. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or capability packages.
