- The 409th CSB Theater Contracting Center intends to competitively award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the purchase of: Seven (7) each Firefighting Aerial ladder trucks, diesel engine driven, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 20,000 kg, 30 m aerial ladder in accordance with EN 1846, with hose storage compartments, equipment storage compartments with roll-up doors. Vehicle shall be equipped with the associated firefighting equipment that will be provided in an attachment to the Statement of Work (SOW). Vehicle shall meet or exceed the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1901 and all applicable European occupational safety and health regulations. Two (2) each Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Trucks, diesel engine driven, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 33,000 kg, 3000 gal (approx. 11,360 liters) water tank, foam tank (approx. 1500 liters) and proportioning system, pump capacity 1,500 gallons per minute (approx. 6000 l/min) with hose storage compartments, equipment storage compartments with roll-up doors. Vehicle shall have the storage capacity to house the equipment listed in the attachment to the SOW. Vehicle shall meet or exceed the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 414 and all applicable European occupational safety and health regulations. One (1) each Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Truck, diesel engine driven, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 26,000 kg, pump capacity 1,500 gallons per minute (approx. 6000 l/min), 1500 gal (approx. 5680 liters) water tank, foam tank (approx. 750 liters), foam proportioning system,) firefighting turrets, hose storage compartments, equipment storage compartments with roll-up doors. Vehicle shall have the storage capacity to house the equipment listed in the attachment to the SOW. Vehicle shall meet or exceed the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 414 and all applicable European occupational safety and health regulations. Delivery: point is FOB Origin at contractors plant which is required to be in a radius of 350 km from Schweinfurt, Germany. Time of delivery: nine (9) months after date of award. Detailed specifications shall be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) W912CM-10-R-0021, which shall be issued on or about 02 August 2010 with a closing date 30 days after issue. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with the required registration in the CCR database. All responsive sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFP.
