- Responses to questions asked on RFQ SOL-663-10-000008 Q.1 We can supply you a product for this application but one product is for Outdoor use only and the other cannot be purchased in the U.S.. Do you have any specifications that would allow us to supply you alternative products? Answer: The notice is only for the procurement of insecticide for indoor residual spraying of household activities (IRS). Q.2 Will bids to the notice below be closed to US sources (code 000), to US and local sources within individual aid recipient countries only, or opened to bids from all sources (935)? Answer: 935 is the source Q.3 We read your specification carefully, we are very glad to learn that your procurement is 32,000kg of 80% WP carbamate for IRS. However, in the specification, it has not mentioned which carbamate, as you, know carbamate insecticide class include much product such as isoprocarb, aldicarb, methomyl, propoxur, carbofuran and so on. Could you please advise us the exact insecticide product name? Answer: Section D.4.1 of RFQ states that " Be one of the insecticides recommended by the World Health Organization Evaluation Scheme (WHOPES) for use in IRS for malaria prevention and control ". Q.4 Need for a clarification on the due date for this solicitation. Is it due on July 22, 2010?. I am confused as the deadline for questions indicate July 27th 2010. Please clarify. Answer: deadline for question was July 18, 2010 and due date for quotation is July 22, 2010. END
