- Scope of work: Replace pressure relief system at facility 26206 AFH RESPONSIBILITIES 1) To insure all areas affected by the line repairers are notified at least 24 hrs in advance. 2) To insure all permits are in order prier to start up and all contractors are sighed and a safety briefing is held. 3) To drain the lines and confirm that they are properly degas prior to any hot work. 4) To insure and over see that contractors are following all applicable safety regulations. 5) To insure all parts to be used are all mil spec. 6) To insure all signage are posted by the contractor and all personal protective equipment are in good condition. 7) To supply limited support in terms of browsers and drip pans and atmospheric testing. CONTRACTER RESPONSIBILITY 1) To insure all parts and bolts and gaskets to be used meet all applicable mil specs and all parts will be stainless steel 3/16 150 lbs schedule 80 rated. 2) To install blinds or inserts to isolate the line and possibly dry ice for inert the system. 3) To fabricate and install new pressure relief lines as per design give by Steve brooks of Enterprise Engineering Inc. 4) To remove the old pressure relief lines and install the new ones, this will also include the replacement of the 1" and ¾" carbon steel nozzles and flanges that are welded to the pipe lines. 5) To have all welds inspected and tested by a certified inspector. 6) After all repairs have been made contractors will spot paint all affected areas and remove all debris related to the project. 7) Contractor will be responsible for supplying all signage and safety barricades. 8) Contactor will be supplied a daily sign in sheet that will be turned in at the end of the day. efer to attached statement of work (Attachment D).
