Description
NAICS Code: 811219 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as Supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested. The North American Industry classification system (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the small business standard is $7.M. The solicitation number is RFQ-10-2-00002 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-44. A firm, fixed-price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this award of this solicitation. EPA in Edison, N.J. 08837 has a requirement for a one year Maintenance Agreement on a Micromass Autospec 'M' series HRGC-MS Instrument and accessories, for period October 1, 2010 thru Sept 30, 2011.The agreement shall include the following: (1) Provide unlimited on-site service and repair visits for the period of coverage. Service will include labor, parts and travel. Consumable items are not included. (2) Provide telephone and e-mail response to any inquiries or existing technical problems within a maximum of eight business hours (one business day). (3) Provide on-site service within a maximum of ninety six hours (four business days) of the initial service call placed with the contractor's Service Representative. (4) One Preventive Maintenance visit to include cleaning, adjusting, inspecting and testing procedures designed to reduce product failure and/or extend useful product life. The Government intends to make a single award to the lowest price offeror that can demonstrate successful past performance in maintaining the above instrument. Offeror shall submit a list of three (3) contracts and/or subcontracts performed for the same instrument within the last th ree (3) years. The list shall contain the name and phone number of the point of contact for each contract. Payment will be made monthly, quarterly, or semi annually, in arrears upon receipt of a proper invoice. Quote shall list pricing for each payment option if applicable. Note: Vendors doing business with the Federal Government are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Registration information can be found at www.ccr.gov. Offerors are encouraged to be registed at the On Line Representations and Certification database ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov/. All offerors are to include with their offers a completed copy of provisions 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
