Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 508 Fulton Street Durham, North Carolina 27705 is seeking potential sources capable of providing Virtual Outpatient Pharmacy Services; prescription finishing on a daily basis to keep the number of pending prescriptions routed for mail to 500 or less on a daily basis. Prescription finishing includes verification of appropriate dose, route, quantity, accurate directions, evaluation for drug-drug interactions, contraindications, recorded allergies and assuring the printed label will be understandable to the patient. Finished prescriptions will be suspended for Consolidated Mail-out Patient Pharmacy (CMOP) or local fill. Contractor shall provide licensed pharmacist to perform outpatient prescription verification services via computers using remote access (VPN) for the VA medical Center, Durham, NC. The applicable NAICS Code is 446110 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories “ 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement. Capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described above. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.
