Description

The specifications for the MS are changed as follows: Bullet 3 is changed to read: The scanning mass range should be programmable throughout the analysis from 50 to 2000 Daltons with a minimum scan rate of 2000 Daltons at 2000 Da/sec. Bullet 4 is changed to read: The system must have full scan MS N where N is at least 2. Bullet 8: regarding the requirement for programmable drying gas temperature is removed in its entirety. All other requirements remain the same. The due date for quotations is extended until 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 5, 2010. For companies who have already submitted a quotation: you should send a fax or email to elaine.wood@ars.usda.gov stating either that the quotation you submitted on or before August 2, 2010, is still valid and should be considered. OR the quotation submitted on or before August 2, 2010 should be discarded and replaced with a new quotation submitted on or before August 5, 2010.
