- Description
- This notice is for the award of Contract W9113M-10-D-0003 for Warfighter Modeling, Simulation, Analysis, & Integration Support to SAIC, 10260 Campus Point Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. This is one of two ID/IQ Contracts awarded on 29 Jul 2010 as a result of RFP W9113M-09-R-0002. Task Orders to be issued against the basic contracts will be competed for by the two awardees as specific requirements are identified. There is a three-year basic period of performance, and two two-year optional periods of performance for a total maximum contract ceiling amount of $343,730,928 for the full potential seven year period. The Warfighter Modeling, Simulation, Analysis, and Integration Support (WMSA&IS) contract is for the necessary goods and services that will provide the Army and DoD an advanced capability for modeling, simulation, analysis and integration of space and missile defense issues and other advanced defense technologies. The WMSA&IS efforts will develop critical technologies to provide the essential functions of the envisioned Warfighter battlefield/battle space process-target sensing, intelligence and sensor information and database fusion, command and control, target execution, and damage assessment. The WMSA&IS efforts will utilize tools based upon traditional simulation and statistical modeling while incorporating the insight of man-in-the-loop simulation. The WMSA&IS efforts will aggregate geographically dispersed existing and to-be-developed simulation components and architectures. USASMDC/ARSTRAT POC Contracting Officer, Deborah V. Teague, 256-955-4310, deborah.teague@smdc.army.mil.
