- SIX (6) MONTH EXTENSION OF SERVICES, W9124L-09-P-0190. Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract modification. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.217-8 and Part 6, Subpart 6.302-1 (only one source), the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting at Fort Sill, OK intends to award to the incumbent, Consolidated Networks Corporation, a six (6) month extension of services under W9124L-09-P-0190, pursuant to FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, pending award of the competitive follow-on procurement being conducted at Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Sam Houston, TX. The Government requires continued performance of Classroom XXI Support Services for the United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) and U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma Pricing for this option period was not obtained during the solicitation and therefore could not be evaluated. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and is posted for five (5) calendar days. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
