- DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs for San Francisco Medical Center plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for contractor to provide and install a stand-alone Hospital Wide Temperature and Humidity Monitoring system that has the capability to be integrated into existing Metasys Extended Architecture Control System. Contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, materials, software, hardware, and programming, submittals and commissioning necessary for a fully functional system that meets design intent and specification requirements of this project at San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC). Contractor is to provide training for VA personnel. The NAICS code 334513 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is Small Business set-aside. The contract will be a fixed price type and is expected to start in September 01, 2010 to August 01, 2011. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-10-RP-0346. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 05, 2010 with an anticipated proposal due date of August 19, 2010.
