- Synopsis: Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Seeking Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) to provide cleaning services for various buildings located at the Manhattan VA located at 423 East 23rd St., New York, NY 10010. Vendor shall be responsible for all necessary labor, materials, parts, components, tools, supervision and transportation. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete cleaning services. a.Contractor is responsible for the following locations at the Manhattan Campus 10 West (square footage 12,500), 6 West (square footage 12,000, North Square (square footage 9,000), 2 South (square footage 12,000), open 7 days a week. Annex, personnel, I.G. and engineering square footage 55,000). Total footage for the VA Medical Center is 100,500 square feet. b.Contract work hours are 7AM to 4 PM unless otherwise specified -Monday to Friday except for location 2 South which is 7AM to 4PM, Sunday to Saturday. c.Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor material and equipment necessary to accomplish the following tasks which shall be done on a daily, weekly or quarterly basis: Following tasks shall be performed on a daily basis: 1.Cleaning of walls and partitions; 2.Interim floor maintenance which includes entrances, elevators, elevator saddles and corridors; 3.High and low dusting of all areas; 4.Waste removal; 5.Clean bath, sink and all commodes; 6.Clean shower curtains; 7.Clean all floors and ceilings; 8.Provide all supplies; such as toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage bags; 9.Answer all emergency calls in a timely manner; 10.Clean all chalkboards and public writing surfaces; 11.Clean all metal surfaces; 12.Clean all furniture; 13.Clean and fix all dispensers and waste receptacles; 14.Clean walk off mats; 15.Comply with all JACHO requirements; 16.Proper arrangements of all furniture and furnishings; 17.Clean the lobby located in the human resources building; 18.Clean stairwells and pickup garbage left in garbage cans by tenants. Following tasks shall be performed on a weekly basis: 1. Perform carpet maintenance; 2. Clean all artificial plants; 3. Clean all louvers, ducts, doors, grills, radiators and fans. Following tasks shall be performed on a quarterly basis: 1. Light fixtures; 2. Lamp fixtures; 3. Blind and shades; 4. Perform floor stripping and waxing; 5. Clean all utility fixtures; 6. Interior walls, floor stripping, 7. Carpet shampooing and maintenance. Spray buffing twice a week. Following tasks shall be performed on a yearly basis: Drapery cleaning and re-hanging once a year or as needed. The NAICS code is 561720 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million.
