- Solicitation N00421-10-T-0321 is being issued as "Informational Purposes Only". Please see GSA E-Buy RFQ488158 for Request for Quote (RFQ). The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 335999 and small business standard size is 500 employees. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is a request for competitive RFQ. However, interested parties may submit a capabilities statement in which they identify their interest and capability. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a written solicitation, quotations are being requested. The government intends to solicit on a competition bases under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This notice is a request for competitive RFQ. However, interested parties may submit a capabilities statement in which they identify their interest and capability. All capability statements received by 4:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, 13 AUG 2010, will be considered by the government for the purpose of determining a competitive procurement. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the RFQ. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon review of the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. The firm fixed price contract line item numbers will be as follows: CLIN 0001 - 10KVA/8000Watt/Rackmount Tower UPS System, QTY 6 EA Minimum Specifications for the UPS •Power Protection Type: UPS •Frequency: 50/60 Hz •Maximum Input Amps: 200v - 46.7A / 208v - 44.9A / 220v - 42.4A / 230v - 40.6A / 240v - 38.9A •Input Connection Type: Hardwire •Watts: 8000 Watt •Volt Amps: 10000 VA •Full Load Run Time: 6 minutes •Half Load Run Time: 12 minutes •Battery Recharge Rate: 2-8 hours to 90% •Connected Equipment Warranty: $250,000 •LEDs: Battery Operation/Bypass/Charger/Inverter/Output AC/power •Switches: Power 2 front panel mounted switches •Alarms: Yes •10,000 VA (10kVA) on-line, double-conversion UPS system (High voltage input / High AND low voltage output) •Detachable input-output PDU module with manual bypass switch enables hot-swap UPS replacement without powering off connected equipment •Installs in only 10 rack spaces (3U power module / 3U battery pack / QTY 2 -2U step-down transformers) with a maximum installed depth of 32.5 inches •Offers 6 minutes runtime at full load (10,000VA / 8000 watts) and 12 minutes at half load (5000VA / 4000 watts). Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract will take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable listed in the schedule.
