Description
This Notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity will be awarded to MSS Services, Inc.; Contract Number HHSN292200900017I. The scope of these services is to provide support for the management of the technical review process of construction documents (from receipt to distribution, review and tracking) submitted by the NCRR construction grant recipients. The support personnel shall be successful in the completing the following: • Conducting technical review of submitted construction documents at various submission levels (technical reviews of construction documents include, but not limited to, disciplines such as architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection engineering). • Preparation and review of workforce impact studies and other related documents as necessary to accomplish proposed project. The construction documents to be reviewed will be for various types of biomedical and animal research; and healthcare facilities and support spaces. The technical reviewers shall review the documents for compliance with the local and national building codes, latest edition of the NIH Design Requirements Manual (DRM), technical accuracy, constructability, sustainability, good lab/engineering practice, and programmatic acceptability. The detailed scope of work shall be sent to the contractor directly. THIS TASK WILL BE AWARDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.
