Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting Requests for Quotes for the fabrication and installation of stoplog panels for various Grand Forks, North Dakota, discharge chambers or gatewells or gated outlets. The solicitation number W912ES-10-T-0100 is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers anticipates a firm fixed-price contract. The requirement involves fabricating and installing stoplog panels for the following Grand Forks (GF) Phase 1 Discharge Chambers, GF Phase 2 Discharge Chambers, and GF Phase 2 Gated Outlet. The quote shall include modifications to the guide rails at the Discharge Chambers as necessary to hang the stoplogs. The contractor will be responsible for measuring the stoplog guide rails and insuring that the stoplog panels will fit. A complete statement of work is attached along with a solicitation and attachments. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work. It is recommended that contractors visit the site prior to submitting a quote. The full solicitation with clauses, the complete Scope of Work, and all attachments will be posted with this announcement. Delivery/installation is required within 150 days of award. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect at the time of publication. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The quoter is cautioned that the listed provisions may include blocks that must be completed by the quoter and submitted with their quotation. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns and the size standard is 500 employees. The associated NAICS Code is 332312. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
