- The subject requirement is an add-on project in support of 33 sole source nsns manufactured by Caterpillar, cage code 11083 from the commercial Caterpillar Price List. The total duration of the items on contract will be 4 years. Solicitation is unrestricted with other than full and open competition. FOB destination is required and inspection/acceptance is at destination. The items are for customer direct support. Hard copies are not available. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The 33 sole source nsns cross reference to the commercial price list. These NSNs have been identified as sole source to Caterpillar, cage code 11083. Delivery orders will be issued against the contract for the following: Customer Direct (DVD) Priority 1-15 in support of CONUS and OCONUS requirements. The delivery schedule will be as follows: Customer Direct (DVD) is 4 days for Cat 1 Pri 1-3 requirements and 7 days for Cat 2 Pri 4-15 NSTD and Cat 3 Pri 4-15 requirements for both CONUS and OCONUS requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c ) (1). Note 12 is applicable.
