- Solicitation SP4702-10-Q-0076 The contractor will be used for offsite storage of Mid-Tier backup tapes generated by the Defense Logistics Agency activities located at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), Columbus, Ohio and for storage of Disaster Recovery Plans. The contractor will be required to pickup tapes between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, five (5) days per week (except federal holidays), store the backup tapes and return tapes that have reached the agreed-upon retention period. The contractor storage site must be located at least 50 miles from the Defense Supply Center Columbus but not more than 150 miles from the Defense Supply Center Columbus. The contractor may also be requested, on an emergency basis, tor return tapes for recovery purposes. If a disaster occurs at the Defense Supply center, Columbus, the contractor will be required to ship the tapes and Disaster Recovery Plan, via same day delivery, to an alternate processing site. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside. The award will be a firm fixed price contract. Period of performance is one year, 15 September 2010 through 14 September 2010 with one option period of one year. Quotes are due back by close of business on 24 August 2010. Past performance information: Offerors must provide past performance information, to include recent and relevant contracts (including Federal, State and local government and private) for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers and other relevant information. Offerors are also authorized to provide information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror’s corrective actions. Offerors must also provide 3 references of current users of the system. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Offers will be technically evaluated in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Statement of Work. Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
