- The U.S Securities and Exchange Commission Office of Acquisitions has a sole source requirement for membership in the Procurement Strategy Council Partnership provided by The Corporate Executive Board Company to provide guidance and insight in to managerial and decision-making challenges. This requirement is for the annual membership and consultation support from the Procurement Strategy Council on aspects to include Acquisition Function Process Improvement and Transformation Services, Benchmarking and Diagnostics, Best Practices Implementation Guidance and several other Acquisition-related areas. The estimated contract value for the base year and four option periods is $255K. The estimated cost for the base year is $48K. Within 10 days of the date of the publication of this notice (August 20, 2010, 4:00 PM Eastern), interested firms may identify their capabilities and qualifications to respond to the requirement in writing via e-mail or facsimile. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether a bona fide competition exists and whether a request for a quote is appropriate. No solicitation package is available. Written responses must be received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be place with the above named vendor. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Potential vendors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR.gov) to be eligible for award.
