- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Analytical Chemistry Division requires 16,000 vials of Vitamin D from Human Serum (SRM 972a). The 16,000 vials of Vitamin D Metabolites for Human Serum are intended to be used for Standard Reference Materials (SRMs) certified as to composition by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). High quality starting materials must be used and the greatest possible care is required in the preparation of the Vitamin D for Human Serum. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. This requirement is being procured using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13, as a competitive small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325414 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, any subsequent amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-10-RQ-0695. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about August 25, 2010, and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
