Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Preventive Maintenance of Anesthesia Machines and compact airway modules to include Trace Gas Analysis for Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, California 94304-1207 for Base Year, Nov 1, 2010 to Sep 30, 2011 with four (4) option years. This acquisition is Unrestricted with preference given to Service Disabled Veteran Owned/Veterans Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. Product Service code of Q501 applies. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, travel time and transportation to provide preventive maintenance for Government owned anesthesia equipment and perform trace gas analysis tests located at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). The Preventive Maintenance, air exchange, and trace gas analysis tests of the eleven GE Healthcare Aisys anesthesia machines and one Aestiva anesthesia machine shall be performed within the first 15 days of November and the first 15 days of May. The Preventive Maintenance of the twelve anesthesia machines will be performed according to the manufacturer's recommended procedure as stated in the GE Healthcare Aisys and Aestiva anesthesia machines service manuals. It will also include preventive maintenance of the compact airway modules. Contractors must be registered in following websites to be considered: Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) AT https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx and VETBIZ registry http://vip.vetbiz.gov The Solicitation number VA-261-10-RP-0375 will be posted on/about August 20, 2010 with a due date of Sep 17, 2010 by 4pm, PDT. Request interested vendors to wait for the announcement of the Solicitation in FBO to review the Statement of Work and contract requirements.
