- Description
- NSN: 4920-01-518-7406CX, Test Adapter, Part Number 16U65E01-3. The Interface Test Adapter (ITA) contains an identification circuit to prevent implementing an incorrect Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) test program. The ITA functions are an integral part of the LRU testing. The ITA routes stimulus and test signals between the test station and the LRU by means of pressure contact connectors, an interface circuit board assembly, flexible circuit, and a cable assembly. Length: 18.18 inches Width: 8.94 inches Height: 5.125 inches Weight: 19.5 inches First Article testing will be required of all sources that have not supplied this item within the last 60 months. First Article Test Requirement to become part of production quantity. Requirement is for (7) seven each. First Article plus data ( Test Plan and Test Inspection Report) associated with the First Article in the basic year. Delivery locations are FE2027 and FE2805. First Article is due 30 days ARO Approval of Test Inspection Report; Test procedure is due 180 days ARO contract; Test Inspection Report is due 30 days ARO completion of First Article Testing. Drawings will be made available on line when the RFP is posted. The approximate RFP issue date will be 27 Aug 2010 with the approximate response date of 27 Sept 2010 at 4pm EST. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONIC REQUEST. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED BY PHONE. THEY MUST ALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the FEDBIZOPPS website. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data.
