- The Product Manager for Sets, Kits, Outfits and Tools (PM-SKOT) is hosting its fourth annual PM-SKOT Industry Day. PM-SKOT will hold the Industry Day conference at the Concorde Inn Convention Center on the 13th and 14th of October 2010. The Concorde Inn Convention Center is located at 44315 Gratiot Ave., Clinton Township, Michigan, 48036. PM-SKOTs Industry Day is for both Government and non-Government personnel. The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for information sharing about PM-SKOT business opportunities, issues, and challenges. The agenda for Day One; Wednesday, October 13th, 2010, will begin at 0830 and will last to approximately 1700. Topics will include but are not limited to the following: Introduction and PM SKOT overview, MWMSS, Boats and Motors, Next Generation SECM, Expeditionary Fire Refill System, Fire Fighting Systems, Ordnance Systems, Engineering Systems, Special Tools, Contracting Overview and Issues, Berry Amendment, Small Business and BRAC. The agenda for Day Two; Thursday, October 14th, 2010, will begin at 0830 and last until 1600. The agenda for day two will include a brief introduction and then will be used for subcontracting and teaming opportunities. PM-SKOT intends to set aside time in half-hour intervals to meet individually with interested contractors at their request. These individual breakout meetings provide a confidential forum between Government Representatives and individual contractors. Please send your request for an individual break out meeting along with your reservation; please include topics you wish to discuss during that meeting. Those interested in attending PM-SKOTs Industry Day should submit a request to the email address listed below NLT 5 October 2010. A confirmation email will be sent NLT 7 October 2010. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible. There will be space available for vendor display/demos during and after lunch; however, interested vendors MUST reserve an area for their companys tabletop display not later than the 29th of September, 2010; display space is on a first come first serve basis. Please include your request for display space with your reservation request. A question and answer session will be held at the end of each day; however, emailing questions prior to the actual update will assist speakers with the focus of their briefings. Questions not answered during the sessions due to time constraints will be addressed later via email. Please email questions regarding PM-SKOT to the address below.
