- FISC - Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Maritime Indfsutrial Division intends to procure on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302, Refrigerated Samplers and bottle kits for the refrigerated samplers, from Teledyne ISCO. Award will be accomplished utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Commercial Items. Specifications shall be set forth within the written solicitation. The delivery of refrigerated samplers and bottle kits will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 334513 with a small business standard of 500 employees. Requests for quote will be available for download on or about 16 August 2010 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil under solicitation number N00189-10-T- N085. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web site. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on NECO to submit your proposal.
