- QUESTIONS/RESPONSES, RFP HSCG84-10-R-AA7358 AMENDMENT 0003, RFP HSCG84-10-R-AA7358 AMENDMENT 0003 has been issued and posted in FEDBIZOPPS amending the solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG84-10-R-AA7358, as follows: i) Phase-In, Paragraph 5.3.1 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Page 13 of 74 of the RFP, has been amended to specify that the Contractor shall begin standing post providing "Armed Guards" at BSU Miami and "Unarmed Guards" at AIRSTA Miami on the first day of the contract, which is 01 OCTOBER 2010, the effective start date of the new contract. However, the contractor will have "30 days" Transition Period after the contract start date to ensure that the guard force meets all other contractual requirements/qualifications...; ii) Guns/Weapons, Paragraph 5.3.2 of the PWS, Page 13 of 74 of the RFP, has been amended to specify the ammunition specifications for the Sig Sauer P229R DAK gun and the 1 Remington M870 Riot Police shotgun; iii) Watch Routine, Paragraphs 5.6.7.a and 5.6.7.b have been deleted since Paragraph 5.4.4 on Page 16 of 74 of the RFP, applies to both BSU and AIRSTA Miami; and, iv) Equipment, Paragraph 5.8.2.a on Page 27 of 74 of the RFP has been amended to add the mounting for the ONE (1) Remington M870 Riot Police shotgun as Government Furnished Equipment. As a result of Amendment 0003, remove Pages 13, 25, 27 and 28 of 74 of the RFP and replace with Replacement Pages 13, 25, 27, 28 and New Page 13A of 74, Amendment 0003. Acknowledgement of Amendment No. 0003 shall be submitted by the closing date for receipt of proposals, THURSDAY, AUGUST 19, 2010, 4:30 PM, Eastern Standard Time, to the following Contract Specialist/Address: COMMANDING OFFICER (PCB), USCG SILC, ATTN: CONNET BROADNAX (PCB22), 300 EAST MAIN STREET, SUITE 965, NORFOLK, VA 23510-9113. QUESTIONS/RESPONSES dated 13 August 2010 to RFP HSCG84-10-R-AA7358 have also been posted in FEDBIZOPPS.
