RECOVERY-- ROJECT NUMBER P-304, PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM AND LIGHTING RETROFIT AT MCAS MIRAMAR, CALIFORNIA, PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. The solicitation will not be made available on this website. Summary of Project Scope: The proposed Scope of Work shall include design, construction, and utility interconnection for two separate and independent solar photovoltaic (PV) electrical generating systems. The PV electrical generating systems shall consist of photovoltaic module arrays mounted on support brackets, electrical terminal and combiner boxes, quick-connect electrical connectors, Direct Current (DC) wiring, DC disconnects, grid-connected inverters and isolation transformers, Alternating Current (AC) disconnects and a web-based data acquisition and monitoring system (DAS). The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment necessary to design and construct the facility as required in the RFP. The exact location will be provided by the Contracting Officer. BASE ITEM 0001: The Firm Fixed Price (lump sum) including bond costs, overhead, and profit, complete in accordance with the RFP, but not including work indicated or specified to be provided under any other bid items, is for the Design-Build project TAS::17 1116::TAS RECOVERYPROJECT#::P-304::RP# PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM AND LIGHTING RETROFIT AT MCAS MIRAMAR, CALIFORNIA and incidental related work. The duration of the entire project is 380 calendar days from date of award, including 15 days for payment and performance bond submission. Projected issue date of the Request for Proposal to MACC Contractors: Approximately August 13, 2010.
