Description
sow The United States Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, International Trade Administration (ITA), Intends to award on a Sole Source basis under authority FAR 6.302, Other Than Full and Open Competition, to Nymity,Inc. ‘s Priva Works database research and analytical services, a unique compliance and legal database service that offers comprehensive analysis, reporting, risk assessment, and policy development services in the realm of data protection and privacy. The International Trade Administration (ITA) uses is seeking comprehensive research information and Communications Technology (ICT) Spending Data Services Section1: Background-one of the principal responsibilities of Manufacturing and Services' (MAS) Office of Technology and Electronic Commerce (OTEC) in ITA is to provide senior Commerce officials, other ITA units and U.S. government agencies, Section 2: Scope of work -The contractor shall provide to OTEC the range of data and analyses as specified below and should have the capability of delivering the data services electronically. More specifically, the contractor shall have the research and analysis gathered and assembled by analysts, lawyers, and privacy experts that specialize in key geographic regions. Secrion3: Desired Services-The required services include, but not limited to the following: Policy, Legal and Compliance Intelligence Indexed with Geographical Regions The only known source of PrivaWorks database research and analytical services is Nymity, Inc. Changing to another method of comprehensive research and analysis on compliance scanning or obtaining a different product would be cost prohibitive under current budgetary constraints. Vendors who believe they have the ability to provide the service PrivaWorks database research are required to submit in writing an affirmative response demonstrating that they can meet the Government requirements. Failure to submit sufficient documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than 15 days after this service. The POC is Barbara H.
