Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support (BSAS), a joint venture between Boeing Helicopters and Sikorksy Aircraft, 7281 Nightstalker Way, P.O. Box 550, Ft. Campbell, KY 42223, on a Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Life Cycle Contractor Support to sustain peculiar and close loop systems installed on the MH-60 and MH-47 aircraft. The proposed action is for services for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about mid September, 2010. You may request a copy via e-mail to andrew.l.davis2@us.army.mil. The period of performance shall be 1 July 2011 through 30 June 2012, with options to renew for four additional years.
