Description
Sources Sought for a Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) System to be installed as a part of the Building Modernization Project at the John Weld Peck Federal Building in Cincinnati, Ohio. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The purpose of this Sources Sought (SS) synopsis is for information and planning purposes only. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. It is a market research tool being used to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the above referenced project. This SS synopsis will help to identify potential sources that may be interested in and capable of providing the product/services described herein. Therefore, all potential offerors, both LARGE and SMALL business are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will NOT pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Responses are due BY 3:00 PM Central Time (CT) MONDAY, August 23, 2010. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government will share the results with the current Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) Contractor for the project. The Government's intent to award a modification to the CMc task order currently in place. Procurement Description - SOURCES ARE SOUGHT FOR wall and duct mounted CO 2 sensors appropriate for office building IAQ monitoring that either do not rely on periodic exposure to outdoor CO 2 levels to maintain their calibration. These sensors should have an accuracy within ±30 ppm ±2% of measured value. INTERESTED SOURCES SHOULD RESPOND NO LATER THAN MONDAY, August 23, 2010, by providing the following information: (1) A brief introduction into the company, including business size. (2) A description of relevant contract experience offered to the Government and/or commercial customers; (3) A brief statement of capability of firm/product(s); (4) Firm's commercial brochure or other descriptive literature on the firm/product. Please limit responses to no more than 8 pages. Send information to GSA Great Lakes Region (5), Public Building Service, Capitol Construction Programs (5PCCP), ATTENTION: Jennifer Wesenberg, 230 S. Dearborn St., Room 3600, Chicago, IL 60604 or email information/brochures to Jennifer.Wesenberg@gsa.gov. Include reference/subject line to read: Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) System. Your Introduction shall include Name of firm w/address, phone number, fax number, point of contact, email address, and DUNS number. Your Statement of Capability shall include any relevant commercial or Government experience providing all or part of these requirements. Responses to this SS shall provide information that indicates the contractor has the experience to provide the product/perform the work described above. Firms responding to this SS synopsis, who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought announcement.
