- Request for Information (RFI) Subject: Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC) Network, VoIP, and Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) Integration and Support THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This request is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal, a Solicitation, a Request for Quote or, an indication that the Government will award a contract for the services contained in this RFI. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. Companies are encouraged to respond if they have the capability and/or capacity to provide the services identified below. Respondents should identify their company name, address, email, telephone number and a name and telephone number of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with government representatives. The United States Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center (VA TAC) is seeking sources for a requirement for Network, VoIP, and Video-Teleconferencing (VTC) Integration and Support. The contractor shall seamlessly integrate the new equipment at the Capital Region Readiness Center (Martinsburg VAMC campus, Martinsburg, West Virginia) with the existing VA Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC) Network (Cisco routers, including VPN routers), switches, firewalls, Cisco wireless access-points, VoIP (Cisco Call Managers, Cisco Unity Connection VoiceMail, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Presence, and Cisco MeetingPlace and all associated Cisco Components), High end Servers, NetApp Storage, and Tandberg VTC equipment at Falling Waters, West Virginia; Hines, Illinois; TechWorld, Washington D.C.; and various other VA-NSOC locations within the continental U.S (to include VA-NSOC staff homes). All work will be performed from the Martinsburg, WV location. The integration team shall have all integration support complete no later than December 15, 2010. The contractor shall provide 24x7x365 support across three (8)-hour shifts. The start date shall be no later than December 1, 2010 at which time necessary training will be conducted and completed. Support will be provided for one (1) year with an option for an additional one (1) year period.
