- Solicitation SP451010Q4070 for MHE Tires, Barstow, CA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. Note that per Subpart 12.6, a SF 1449 is not being used to issue this solicitation. However, the successful contractor will be required to complete and sign an appropriate SF 1449 prior to award to become part of the contract. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 811310 and the corresponding small business size standard is $7 million. As per the attached solicitation number SP4510Q4070, DLA disposition Services has a requirement to replace tires on various Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) items as per the attached. Questions concerning this acquisition must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer listed in this FEDBIZOPS announcement and arrive no later 2:00pm Eastern Time, August 19, 2010. Timely questions and their corresponding answers will be published via amendment. Any question received after this date and time will not be answered. Receipt of your quotation package is due no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, August 24, 2010.
