- Specification Volumn 1 Attachments - Wage Rate and Drawings Specification Volumn 5 Clauses and Provisions Specification Volumn 3 1442 Specification Volumn 2 Specification Volumn 4 The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center, Columbus Ohio has a requirement for: Construction of a new DSCC Community Building along Pershing Avenue between 15 th Blvd. and 16 th Blvd at DSCC. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, testing and supervision required in performing all operations in conjunction with this project in strict accordance with the specifications, contract drawing No. 3-1463 (1 THRU 19c sheets), complete and subject to the terms and provisions of this contract. This section is applicable to all other sections herein. Demolition of existing building 114 and construction of a new VA Engineering Building at the demolition area of building 114 at DSCC. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, testing and supervision required in performing all operations in conjunction with this project in strict accordance with the specifications, contract drawing No. 3-1463 (1 & 20 THRU 37d sheets), complete and subject to the terms and provisions of this contract. This section is applicable to all other sections herein. Construction of a new secondary entrance drive and exit drive to and from VA new parking lot between H Street & G Street to James Road. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, testing and supervision required in performing all operations in conjunction with this project in strict accordance with the specifications, contract drawing No. 3-1463 (51 THRU 54 sheets), complete and subject to the terms and provisions of this contract. This section is applicable to all other sections herein. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, testing and supervision required in performing all operations in conjunction with this project in strict accordance with the specifications, contract drawing No.3-1463 (46 sheets), complete and subject to the terms and provisions of the solicitation. Th is summary is for the purpose of general information and is not intended to include or describe every feature or item or to define the scope of work. It is expected that prospective contractors will attend the site visit and thoroughly familiarize themselves with the project prior to submitting a proposal. This project requires the use of specialized skills and equipment. Contractors submitting offers for this project shall have not less than a minimum of three (3) years of construction / installation experience in having satisfactorily performed work of the types and magnitude required by this project. All contractors shall submit with their offer a written qualification and work experience statement demonstrating the contractor is qualified and experienced to perform the similar construction/ installation work. The written qualifications and work experience statement shall be certified and signed by the principle of the contracting firm. Written Qualifications, Work Experience Statement: Shall include a summary of work experience, the number of years in business, and the capacity of the contracting firm or company to perform the work in terms of personnel, equipment; years of experience, and certification of training for workmen assigned to perform the work. Details of workmanship shall be in accordance with the highest standards and best practices of the respective trade as recognized by respective contractor's association. This requirement s set aside pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act for certified 8(a) firms located in the State of Ohio only Magnitude of construction or this requirement is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The award will be a firm fixed contract. Award will be based on the lowest evaluated price of the technically acceptable proposal meeting all of the solicitation requirements from responsible offerors with acceptable past performance. There will be one award made for this requirement. Award may be made without discussions. The solicitation will close at 1:00 PM (Eastern) on 08 September 2010. Access to the Defense Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio is restricted. All individuals wishing to attend the site visit will be required to request access no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit. Those individuals wishing to attend must provide their name and corporate affiliation to the contracting officer by fax or email. Individuals will need to enter the Center through the Visitor Processing Center and valid federal or state issued photo identification will be required. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA databases will render the contractor ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
