- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This is not a request for quotation/proposal/bid. The proposed action will be a new task order issued against base Federal Supply Schedule contract GS-07F-9462G. The contractor is Schneider Electric USA, Inc., 1415 South Roselle Rd, Palatine, IL 60667. The Product Service Code is R425. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541330, and the size standard is $4.5MIL. This procurement will be awarded restricting competition of schedule contractors to fewer than required in 8.405-1 because only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work of software communication integration. Market research revealed that only one source possess the capabilities to meet the Government's unique requirement (FAR 8.405-6(b)(1); based on Schneider Electric possessing proprietary data and products. The services to be provided in this task order is as follows: ensure that Software Communication Integration be performed at all locations so that each advanced meter will communicate with the dedicated ION EEM/ION Enterprise meter server located at the GSA central office in Washington, D.C.
