Description
N0016110RC16703 FISC control No. 2010-2146. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department intends to acquire one dynamometer diesel engine test platform. for the US Naval Academy subject to the availability of funds. Item includes three each small one cylinder diesel engines and other sensors, controllers, accessories, and other components. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with SuperFlow Technologies Group under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. SuperFlow is the only known institution that can develop this item. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm fixed price contact will be awarded as a result of this quotation. This requirement in support of the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD is processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items using FAR 13.5 test procedures.
