- The Philadelphia District intends to award on a sole source purchase order with Fish and Associates for the Development of Testing Procedures for Ultrasonic Phased Array Testing of Pins and Gusset Plates on Bridges. The study will include field testing of pins and gusset plates on the Reedy Point Bridge. Contract period is from 23 August 2010 through 22 September 2010. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. No contract will be made on the basis of this notice. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Bonding is not required. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. The NAICS code is 541990 and the small business size standard is $7 million
