- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure waveguides and related hardware from Micro Communications, Incorporated. The services will be procured on a sole source basis from Micro Communications, Incorporated, 15 Caron Street, Merrimack, NH 03054-4428 as the only service provider capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements. The items consist of: Part# 31401059-MCI (Qty=2); Part#104648, (Qty=5); Part#245605-PFM (Qty=2); Part#245002A-5180 (Qty=1); Part#245002B-F20 (Qty=6); Part#245212C-45 (Qty=1); Part#245251C-SM (Qty=3). Required delivery is no later than 12 weeks after receipt of order. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) is applicable to this purchase. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 30 August 2010, no later than 12:00 p. m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 13 September 2010. Quotes may be submitted by EMAIL in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to APRIL.GALLAHAN@NAVY.MIL or by FAX to: 540-653-6810.
