- 1449 THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item utilizing FAR Part 13 Procedures prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is M00263-10-T-0046, and is being issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-0043 and Defense Acquisition Circular 20100810. This action being solicited as a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this action is 711510 with a size standard of $7.0M. This requirement is for Musical Services for the Protestant Religious Service, as well as the care of musical instruments and the development and maintenance of the musical library. See attachment for specific details. The intent of the Government is to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract with two (2) option periods. The contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with two Not To Exceed Line Items for a base period of 5 months and two (2) one (1) year option periods. The period of performance will be from date of contract award through 04 Feb 2011. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: These Protestant Religious Services shall be conducted on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC. Past performance references shall be similar to this requirement in scope and size. Include POC, contract number, period of performance, and contract amount. (4) Narrative on Musical Experience (5) Price: all pricing quoted shall be FOB Destination. The basis for award is best value. The criteria for evaluation in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 is: (1) Musical Experience (2) Interview Presentation (3) Audition Results (4) Past Performance (5) Price. See attachment for additional information. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award; however, the Government reserves the right to issue multiple awards.
